Olney Care services Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide domiciliary care to enable all adults to live independently and remain in their own homes for as long as they are able to do so.  Our Service is available to the elderly, who need support, anyone who maybe housebound due to frailty, or as a result of an illness or hospitalisation,  adults with health problems such as Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s,  Adults with learning or mental health disabilities and for family carers in need of some relief. We provide services in all aspects of personal care, medication assistance, household services, plus an additional range of bespoke services for individual circumstances.

Our staff

Our staff are the heart of our company. They are all are carefully selected through a rigorous recruitment process. This includes: an enhanced Criminal Bureau check, face to face interviews and training.

The qualities we look for in our staff are compassion, respect, commitment, understanding and a friendly attitude. We have people working for us from a range of ages and backgrounds but the one thing they all share is a willing approach and a readiness to adapt to the particular circumstances of our clients.

Our staff are very important to us and are continually supported throughout the year with a staff training and development programme.

Staff employed by Olney Care Services will receive training according to the duties they may be required to undertake. This training will include

Selecting and training the right people

All of our carers have provided references, which have been thoroughly checked. They also undergo an Enhanced CRB Disclosure before being allowed to provide care.

We take training very seriously and ensure all employees are fully adept in meeting our standards, to improve their skills in delivery quality care and to be fully aware of any changes in legislation. All of our carers are have the opportunity to undertake a Diploma in Health and social Care or higher qualifications depending on their position within the company.

All carers will be expected to follow the policies and procedures of Olney Care Services Ltd , the Essential Standards of Health and Safety 2010 and the Codes of Conduct set out by General Social Care Council.
