Olney Care services Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide domiciliary care to enable all adults to live independently and remain in their own homes for as long as they are able to do so.  Our Service is available to the elderly, who need support, anyone who maybe housebound due to frailty, or as a result of an illness or hospitalisation,  adults with health problems such as Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s,  Adults with learning or mental health disabilities and for family carers in need of some relief. We provide services in all aspects of personal care, medication assistance, household services, plus an additional range of bespoke services for individual circumstances.

How we manage your care planning

We create a care plan for all of our clients. This sets out the services we will provide and we take a great deal of care to ensure that we put the right plan in place for each of our clients.

The aim of our first meeting with you and/or your representatives will be to carry out an assessment of your care. Alternatively, a social worker might meet you to ensure the service we provide meets your choices and needs.

One of the managers will arrange a time, at your convenience, to carry out these assessments and ask questions about the care you need, next of kin details, doctor and district nurse name and contact details.

We will also carry out assessments on your moving and handling needs and a home risk assessment which identify any risks to you or the care support workers.

The care plan will give the support workers the information needed to carry out the agreed tasks. We make every effort to accommodate all of your needs and our staff are always willing to go the extra mile for their clients. If there are issues which need to be resolved these can be addressed during our regular care plan reviews.

If you or a family member needs the support we can offer, all you need to do is follow the steps below and we will take care of the rest.

Step 1
Phone us for a chat to discuss what sort of Care or Service you are looking for, or just for some advice or additional information.

Step 2
We will then arrange a one-to-one meeting with you in your home to discuss your needs in more detail.

Step 3
Once you decide to use our services we will prepare your individual Care plan based on your choices and requirements.

Step 4
We will allocate a fully trained care worker to start supporting you with your care and/or domestic requirements.

Care plan reviews

Once the care package has been established and running for a period of time, we will arrange to visit you again to ensure you are happy with the service and the carers that we provide and to see if your care needs have changed in any way.

We will reassess your care package on a six month basis or if your circumstances change in any way. If changes are required we will arrange a meeting with you, your representatives and any other professionals involved in your care.
